Aarika is a handcrafted jewellery brand born out of  Sarika Rajeev Kapoor’s love for jewellery making, in the year 2009.It is not just another brand in the market, It is an emotion, It’s a love for accessorizing, it’s a desire to make a statement, a desire to stand out in a crowd.

Jewellery making for Sarika is not just a profession, It is an extension of who she is Her passion for design started as a child. According to her –“A piece of jewellery should not just adorn your body, it must inspire and uplift your spirits. There should be a wow factor to it. It must arise an innate desire in the wearer to flaunt it.”

Sarika specializes in ornate handwoven jute neckpieces interlaced with temple pathakams. If you want to honor a special place in your heart by showcasing it on your person, she has the one-of-a-kind, handmade piece for you!

The personalization and artistic vision that goes into creating a one of a kind piece for a client gives her a great high. She loves the process of connecting to her heart, designing and knotting each metal or gemstone and infusing them with positive intentions and affirmations. She plays with materials, processes and techniques until she comes up with what she thinks is an exquisite piece, an embellishing form of wearable art.

Aarika retails out of a few niche stores in the city and out of it, apart from holding exhibitions and shows with Crafts Council of India, Dakshina Chitra, Handloom Export Promotion Council Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Madras Market. An Alumnus of SIN-Gem institute of jewelry design, she was featured in their hall of fame for her achievements in the field of fashion jewellery.
